Your genome is the most personal data there is. We treat it that way.

EU-sovereign by design, encrypted in transit, explicitly consented, and deleted on demand. Privacy is built into the architecture, not added as a policy afterwards.

  • EU ONLYProcessed and stored in FinlandStored in servers in Helsinki. Your data never leaves the European Union: no transfer to the US or anywhere else.
  • ART. 9Special-category consent, done properlyGenetic data is GDPR Article 9 special-category data. Consent is explicit, separable, withdrawable, versioned, and auditable: an append-only history of every grant and withdrawal.
  • CRYPTOEncrypted in transitYour upload is encrypted on the wire. Access is least-privilege and logged.
  • PURGERaw reads are ephemeralFor the Deep Read add-on we process your aligned reads and then delete them immediately. Only the small per-gene numbers remain. Raw input is purged after analysis by default.
  • DELETEDeletion on demandAsk, and we erase your data. Withdraw the re-analysis consent and your retained variant file goes with it; your last report snapshot is always yours.
  • NEVERNever sold, never minedWe don't sell, share, or train on your data. Our business is the report, not your genome. That's the whole point of paying.
Aimosti performs a bioinformatic re-analysis of data you already own. We never take a sample, sequence, test, or diagnose. For anything clinically relevant we say the same thing: this is a literature match. Confirm it with a clinician and a validated gene test before acting.

They sold fifteen million genomes. We never hold yours.

When the largest private DNA database ever assembled was sold off in a 2025 bankruptcy, it proved the risk of letting a company hold your genome. Aimosti is built the opposite way: you keep the file, your data stays in the EU, and there is no vault to be sold, even if we shut down.

Why we exist →

the difference

THEM  collect & store your DNA → it becomes a saleable asset.

US  you keep your file → there is nothing of yours for anyone to buy.
