The Aimosti affiliate programme
We pay 20% of net revenue on every report bought by someone you referred, for 365 days from the day they sign up. This page explains what you would be selling, what you would earn, and how to apply. Read it before you do: we approve a minority of applications.
What you would be selling
Aimosti re-analyses DNA data people already own. A customer brings a file they already have (a 23andMe or AncestryDNA raw download, or a whole-genome BAM, CRAM or VCF from a sequencing provider) and we turn it into a report covering carrier status, how their genome interacts with common medications, ancestry and traits. There is no spit kit and no lab. The file exists; we interpret it.
Reports run from €19 for a chip file to €79 for the deep pharmacogenomics read of a whole genome. The company is Finnish, the data stays in Finland, and the report is deliberately honest about confidence: it says what a chip file cannot show rather than pretending it can. That honesty sells best with exactly the audience an affiliate reaches: people who already genotyped or sequenced themselves once and are skeptical of what they got back.
One thing to be clear about before you write a word of copy: Aimosti is not a medical service. It does not diagnose anything and it does not predict whether anyone will get a disease. Your copy must never say or imply otherwise. It is the first rule in the terms, and the one we enforce hardest.
What you would earn
20% of the net, ex-VAT or sales tax value of every report your referrals buy. So on a €79 sale with 10% tax, the net value is €71.82 and you'll earn €14.36.
The earning window is 365 days from the day someone creates an account through your link, and first touch wins.
Commission is held for 60 days after each sale, longer than our refund window, so paid money rarely has to be unwound. Once you have €100 or more payable, you invoice us and we pay by bank transfer, in euro, with no transfer fee deducted. How it works
- You apply with the form below. It asks who you are, where you publish, and how you would promote us.
- We read it. You'll get a reply usually within a few days.
- If it is a yes, you create an Aimosti account the normal way and tell us. We switch the account to affiliate status.
- This opens your affiliate dashboard: it shows your link, clicks, sign-ups, sales, ledger and payout requests in one place.
- Before your first payout you complete your company details on that dashboard: commission is paid against an invoice, so we need to know who we are paying.
Who we are looking for, and who we are not
A good fit publishes for an audience that already cares about DNA, health data, privacy or self-measurement: a blog, a newsletter, a channel, a podcast, a community you actually run. If your readers have ever downloaded their raw data, or have a genome sitting in cloud storage from a sequencing order, you will do well here.
Save yourself the form if any of these describe you:
- Coupon, voucher or cashback sites. The link is for your own audience, not for intercepting people already on their way to checkout.
- Paid search on our brand. You would be charging us for traffic that was already ours.
- Bulk email or comment spam, or anything that involves appearing to be us.
- Anyone who cannot invoice as a business. We cannot pay commission to a private individual (properly registered sole proprietorships excluded): a hard rule with a tax reason behind it, not a preference.
We check the business register you name, we look at the channels you list, and we say no more often than yes.
